The re-launch of CFBranch.com

28 November 2008 Michael Rock No Comment

During the Rock4CF election campaign a website facility for branches was established – cfbranch.com. It’s run by a CF member, Chris Hampsheir, who runs a hosting company (MiLon hosting). Chris had offered this to the previous NME who showed no interest, so he came to Michael.

During the campaign Rock4CF setup around 25 websites; problem being they were basic, the template was awkward and the sites hard to setup.

Today sees a re-launch of CFBranch – it’s now fully automated so members can easily signup for a blog, and have it ready in minutes. We find the ‘blog’ format works well and this will help with future plans for information sharing the NME are going to implement.

CFBranch is a simple and effective way for branches to improve their online presence. The new system is even more efficient, for which we all owe thanks to Chris.

This really does offer direct support for branches and, as proved across the country, the internet can be used to draw in new members and better inform our existing members. I urge all branches to sign up to this free offer!
