On March 10th 2009 Yorkshire and Humber CF held their inaugural meeting at Leeds Civic Hall.

This is an important step and takes Conservative Future a huge leap forward in the region. Each Area Chairman becomes a full representative on the newly established Yorkshire and Humber Executive. The Regional Chairman Philip Smith Chairs the Executive committee where decisions on an Area and Regional level are taken. The Executive will also work closely with the National CF team in London to make further improvements to CF in Yorkshire and Humber.

The Yorkshire Executive’s overriding aim is to ensure the sharing of ideas and resources between the different parts of our region. The Executive’s aim is to also provide a truly representative body of its membership and ensure decision making is taken which reflects the changes supporters have said they would like to see happen.

Those serving as full members are:

Regional Chairman: Philip Smith
Graduate Officer: Chris Wales
West Yorkshire: Dan Paterson
North Yorkshire: Anna Appleton
East Yorkshire: Andrew Barrett
South Yorkshire: James Gould

A representative from the voluntary and professional wings of the party will be invited to attend Executive Meetings to provide comment and feedback.

Our long term aspiration is to enhance the structure and membership to such a level that will allow each CF member in the region the opportunity to vote for their Area Chairman Representative and also the Regional Chairman who oversees Yorkshire and Humber.
Please email Philip if you would like to give any feedback about the latest changes. Your views are very important to us.

You can email the Regional Chairman at chairman@yorkshirecf.com
