What makes you a Conservative?

Common sense and free will. I believe that everyone has the right to decide their own destiny and should not be dictated to by the state. I have no time for ideologies which ignore the individual in order to protect the system, where freewill is sacrificed for the ‘greater good’.

What are you currently working on?

Well politically I’m currently working on forming CF branches in South Yorkshire. Personally I’m studying the law and aspire to a career at the bar.

Who is your political hero?

I must admit that I look up to quite a few political figures, but if pushed I would probably say Benjamin Disraeli. I think in terms of sheer political skill he is unrivaled in British political history.

When do you think the next General Election will be?

Brown and Labour are finished now so he’ll push it all the way to the wire. So it should be either late May 2010 or June 2010.

Why should people get involved with organisations like Conservative Future?

Conservative future provides young politically minded people with a real opportunity to be involved in what I honestly believe is the best organised and most exciting youth political movement in the country. CF is proof that politics is relevant to the youth of Britain and also a great opportunity to make a real difference.
