Last week beginning Tuesday March 2nd saw Worcestershire Conservative Future kick off its new campaign at the flagship CCHQ GenEVA callcentre to boost the pledge base of Worcestershire based PPC’s. They began with Mark Garnier, the PPC for Wyre Forest.
We linked up with City future, interns, volunteers to campaign on behalf of Mark Garnier, PPC for Wyre Forest. The Wyre Forest Constituency is famous, being the only current seat to host an Independent MP, Dr Richard taylor elected in 2001.
The three evenings of campaigning proved a resounding success …
There have been a few changes in the West Oxfordshire Conservative Future; with new Chairman David Lydiat elected at the December 2009 AGM. David is looking to increase membership, the number of political and social events, hold a fundraiser and of course play a key part in what we hope will be a successful general election this year.
West Oxfordshire Conservative Future (WOCF) had their first event of 2010; a dinner with guest speaker Nicola Blackwood (PPC for Oxford West and Abingdon). The dinner was a success with a good turnout. …
On Saturday 20th I hosted the first annual Yorkshire CF drinks reception in Leeds. The event was a tremendous success with thirty members of Yorkshire CF attending.
We were joined by three prospective parliamentary candidates; Jason McCartney, Antony Calvert and John Sharp. For many students this will be their first time voting and in this election students issues will be at the …

With that in mind we had organised for some young councillors to come along and tell us about how they were elected, about how they cope with the pressures of work and being a councillors, and mostly to provide us with their ideas on how to be a good a councillor for the residents …

Monday 11th January saw the launch of the new Geneva Call Centre in Coleshill, Birmingham with Party Chairman Eric Pickles cutting the ribbon and kick starting the West Midlands new addition to the campaign.
The event was attended by CFers from across the West Midlands, and proved to be another fine example of how CF supports the Party whenever needed.
Members of staff at the call centre delivered great speeches, and we all left feeling greatly enthused about the difference that can be made. CF will continue to assist at …
The first two weeks of 2010 have witnessed two very exciting events take place for members in Yorkshire. On Monday the 4th several members joined me, William Hague and our candidate who is up against Ed Balls, Anthony Calvert to launch our National Poster campaign here in Yorkshire. It was bitterly cold but we kept each others spirits high with discussions on how we each looked forward to the ‘Portillo’ moment for Labour! A goal we will work very hard to deliver for our party on election night.
On Thursday the …
