By Ben Mallet

On Tuesday 20th April, Richmond Park’s Conservative parliamentary candidate, Zac Goldsmith teamed up with local residents for a Social Action day.
Following a consultation, Zac and the team met with some residents of Robinson court, in Richmond upon Thames. The residents had suggested that there were two sites in the court that could do with some gardening.
Homebase Richmond kindly donated some plants and volunteers set about digging over the land and planting the shrubs.
Alongside the gardening, local Conservative council candidate, Katharine Robinson had organised and advertised a “bring and …

Support Help for Heroes

Carl Walters is the Chairman of York St John University CF. He is raising money for Help for Heroes:
Before I came to study in York I served in the RAF Regiment, and completed a 6 month tour of duty in Afghanistan. Whilst I was there I lost many good friends, and I saw with my own eyes the effects that the injuries sustained had on people.
My colleague SAC Gill, who is currently serving in Afghanistan, and I have decided to raise some money for HELP FOR HEROES, which has changed …

Activists raise £9,500 for the Poppy Appeal

It with great pride that I can announce today the efforts of CF members raised a grand total of £9470.15 for the cause.

For many CFers late October and early November means one thing in particular: The Poppy Appeal.

Last autumn was the third year that CF activists have given up their time to help out the Royal British Legion with its flagship fundraising event, not as a political activity but simply as people with the time and willingness to do good without gain.

Driving the Social Action agenda in 2010

Social Action is about people across the country doing their bit to help their local communities and building a better society for everyone. As Conservatives, Social Action is the very lifeblood of everything we believe in and stand for. That’s why I’m delighted to be leading Conservative Future’s National Social Action Programme for 2010, to help activists up and down the country engage in local projects and help make a difference in their areas.
In my previous role as National Campaigns Director, I met hundreds of Conservative Future activists who voluntarily …

By Jonathan Sutton
Hello, my name is Jonathan Sutton and I am the recently elected Conservative Future Representative for Hathern and Dishley (which is one of the wards in the Loughborough Constituency). Nicky stood in this constituency the last time around and managed to reduced Andy Reed’s majority from 6, 378 to 1996 and with several boundary changes this majority has been reduced …

North East CF take part in Operation Christmas Child

North East Conservative Future have been very busy getting into the Festive spirit by taking part in the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox appeal organised by Samaritans Purse.

This project has been running for nearly twenty years and has delivered millions of shoeboxes to under-privileged children in Europe, Africa and Asia.

The project is very simple. You take a shoebox, wrap it up in Christmas wrapping paper, decide whether it is for a boy or a girl and fill it with goodies.

Party Conference social action project

This year’s Conference Social Action Project is working to transform the Radcliffe Girls and Boys Club.
Radcliffe Girls and Boys club started as a boys’ football club in the late 1960’s and evolved into a Girls and Boys club in the early 1970’s. The club was founded by Ronnie Morris, a former Conservative Mayor of Radcliffe, and his son, Cedric Morris is still involved with the club.
Since the 1970’s it has settled into its current role as a general activities club for young people from age 7 upwards. The older children …
